Dr. Mouallem has specialized training in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of mood disorders, anxiety and panic, adjustment problems, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, and other emotional difficulties in adults of all ages.

Any of these problems may arise on their own, but are usually intertwined biologically and psychologically with issues from certain stages of life, past and current. As such, he has a special interest and focus in early adulthood issues, reproductive psychiatry, acute and chronic medical conditions, and life-stage transitions.

After an extensive evaluation, Dr. Mouallem will work with you to establish an initial plan of care that includes psychotherapy, medications, or both when indicated. This could be either with him or, if needed and appropriate, a referral to a more specialized or higher level of care.
